Also, while phantomized, they still can take damage from AoE magic and phantomize reduces their Magic Damage Reduction by 50%, so explosive bottles are extra effective (they deal magic damage). If you are playing in a team with a wizard, fireballs and other AoE spells would also do.
If they took off that move speed boost it would probably be manageable (then it would be a repositioning tool at best, not a free disengage tool).
Superior movespeed, jumping to deny the movement penalty, and done, you only lose a fight as a ranged if you screw it.
I'm at a point where I feel engaging a warlock or druid is simply not worth my precious dungeon time.
Dude do something I learnt from someone who did this to me, swap to torch, chase them and keep slapping them on the head with the torch, or if you believe they are almost dead, throw it at them, you can move much faster holding torch only, hit them with it when they run off.
they don't just have higher movement they built like that, barbs running around with 200 hp and max move speed 1 shotting. dont W key people with 2 hander out, you people out here chasing with 270 ms and then cry about class balance. use your brain and think about how you died.
All of the same ♥♥♥♥ applies to them smart guy. They too, can put away their weapon and run. Except they have lighter armour and a 10% boost. Should I unequip all of my armour while chasing just for them to turn around and oneshot me with a longsword? Use your brain.
That's also just by game design. Not sure how they could change that..
yes. there should be a real consequence to using Phantomize. it shouldn't be as mindless as "someone got into melee range. I hit button."
I can't even begin to describe how many locks I've fought recently who have Phantomized against me. as a wiz....
these people don't even understand what their skills do and yet locks are farming other players. this has gotten ridiculous
follow them through the multiple mobs they are phasing through good idea
the phantomize + flamewalk + curse of pain + hydra ♥♥♥♥ is incredibly goofy and has no place in the game
