High roller is BS sole puprpese of which is pretty much either grind for sesonal rewards or just farm gold. But funny enouth ppl are farming gold in normal by getting 25+ GS and just nuking lobbies and then selling good gear on flee market or farming bosses, so like HR is not even good for money making.
its true, its like i paid 30$ just for half of content
only people I would say it might not be worth is countries that get screwed by no regional pricing, in that case I would wait for them to set that up.
I'm 900+ hours and still consider it my main game, so the $50 (Hold the Line edition) was more than worth it.
It's hard for me to understand the negative sentiment about the price and offered premium content and makes me wonder what other games these ppl play and think is worth their money, but I guess it could just boil down to a matter of taste.
I mean no disrespect just trying to discuss, but IMO wouldn't premium content be something extra and exclusive? Like the features that paying unlocks shouldn't be locked from the game. rather than it adding onto the game when you buy something, it feels more like its taking away from the game when you don't buy something. maybe early access to new/exclusive dungeons with different enemies, giving you new quests to do could be actually "Premium". but its just access to stuff that you should already have. for example: my first character was a fighter, but after getting him to level 10 I wanted to try different classes to see if I liked one more. after experimenting, Fighter ended up being my favorite so I went back to that class and had to start all over because of the limited character slot. I know its only 10 levels but its more the fact that it takes very little work to add more character slots to a game, so why do I have to go to work for at least 2 hours for $30 just to get it. if they spent time making real content then I could understand spending time making real money to access it, but that doesn't seem to be the case ATM. but like I said, this is just my opinion and I love the game itself. I also agree with you with the addicting part. also Ik you said it boils down to a matter of taste just offering an explanation of my taste
yeah, this need to be done, paying with no regional price is busted
