Long sword riposte is broken
Dude just blocked my attack and two shot me before I could even do anything. How is that fair? This games combat is very slow its not hard to parry and thats the only weapon any fighters use because of it

Would love to see someone explain how its fair

You will never convince any longsword users that its an overpowered weapon, even with the riposte. It has a tiny parry hitbox and if you miss, its usually game over.

Feet are considered part of that hitbox in panther form. Riposte seems to invalidate any not ranged engagement, unless you have a spear and can stay out of range, but that's unrealistic due to move speed.

The whole game is cheese….high gear kicking and spitting on low gear…hard picks laughing as they maul their counter…it’s a joke. Poke company vs death all. They made medieval Overwatch that is 80% gear based combat.

Lmao it’s extremely easy to land. Literally block and turn to the side they swing from…

What about if you can't block??

Use a pole arm weapon or weapon with good range and when you hear that ting! sound strafe jump tf out of range, I use this strat a lot and only get hit once before I'm out of range. Best strat against the long sword though is to just aim for their exposed parts instead even if it's just the legs it doesn't matter some guys will just keep trying to parry until they are one hit then decide to start attacking at which point you've already won

You need to hit around their sword. hit their legs, jump and try to hit the head. You hear the block and you move out of range or try to duck and weave. Longsword is dangerous when someone knows how to parry well, you can't just click spam them

Back in the medieval times and like today, it was exactly the same. Unless you were a fully armored knight, a good parry and subsequent counterattack could kill you very quickly. Honestly, the longsword is strong if you know how to use parry and riposte. But overpowered? Certainly not. A combatant who knows how the longsword works can dodge your riposte or prevent you from parrying well. All in all, fairer than any other warlock, druid or bard garbage.

lmao all that advice to counter one weapon right out of the 30 weapons that dont even compare

and what I swing at his legs but he actually doesn't parry but he stabs me in the head now im at a disadvantage lol. I cannot tell what he plans on doing there's just holes in all this logic.
