Freezing every game

They actually gotta make performance a priority for this potato game. Every single game this ♥♥♥♥ freezes for a good 20 seconds and locks up my whole computer. Cant tab out, cant ctrl alt dlt, nothing. Have to sit there for 30 seconds to come back to being dead. Its pointless to bring a kit in because i know at some point its going to lock up and im going to die to a mob. Makes playing solo impossible. Pls do something about this its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so frustrating. FREEZES EVERY. SINGLE. GAME.

I'm on RTX 3070 Ti, Ryzen 9 5950X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, playing at 1440p@165fps and it never crashed for me. I also watch streamers play the game and it doesn't crash for them either.

case you own a HDD, I would strongly suggest you to disconnect it when you want to play.. annoying as hell, yeah - or, you could build a minifilter driver and just deny access to any file TavernWorker.exe tries to read.. - as the process itself will think your disks are just empty.

Because of the same crap have uninstalled the game. Their great "anti-cheat" not only staters the game, but also doesn't completely prevent cheaters as there are still some wondering around.
Because of those freezes I died so much as getting frozen during a spell cast in PVP = instant death. Thanks a lot!
(And I'm not even talking about the amount of disk it uses compared to my casual daily use. Feels like deliberate SSD overload)

its because of the HDD, and the anti cheat just obliterates hdd because reasons i guess

Same issue, I have a thread for this issue as-well. There are a couple of "solutions" that may lessen the problem for some, but will prob do nothing for most people. Worth checking either way, will keep bumping the thread until a actual fix is found.
