Why is Cecilia not an appropriate name for a character?

I tried naming my character that and it said "That name is not appropriate". I know that it is some bug or something because i tried putting the name "Elizabeth" and it told me "That name is not available". Am I just a complete buffoon and Cecilia is code for the human intimate part or do the devs just not like my naming choice??

nah,...you're just gay...as in too happy the algorithm can smell such things...you need sadness in your life it will make you happier in the long run...its unbeatable logic trust me...

seriously though (and that was just a joke) I had that problem too not the Cecilia or Elizabeth problem but other names that should be none sexual being rejected. Is it a translation thing or am I too happy and the algorithm recognized that and had something to say about it...I guess we'll never know.

The naming filter is a bit busted.

For example, I couldn't get "Assault" as part of my name, though this one is more obvious as to why - it contains "ass" in it.

Why Cecilia is prohibited I have no idea, maybe some part of it is bad in some other, non-English, language.

Cecelia is derived from the Latin word for "blind," but that's all I found.

It could be a part of the username that it doesn't like, doesn't have to be the entire username.

That's true. I've still been looking for variations that translate to something weird or offensive, I just posted what I'd found so far.
