Tips for Beginner pls

Universal tip, focus on spacing when dealing with PvE mobs to avoid getting hit.

Take potions off your belt, people can tell where you are if you are hiding with them on, if you play as wizard, beware PvP unless you are uber skilled and equipped, get agility and dex above all else.

My tip as beginner to another beginner is to play solo because of toxic community.

Ignore him it varies lot just like with any game. I've played trio with strangers once and they were friendly. Even ran in to lots of friendly people in solos who helped me clear mobs etc. People will usually spam crouch to show friendliness so if someone crouches back to you means they want be friendly too. Not been betrayed yet! Of course most will want to kill you as it is solos.

Bard is insane. Just hard to learn. Watch some YT vids for pve clearing and just play. On bard u have to train muscle memory for playing songs

I'm not talking about random encounters. I'm talking about finding a group to play with on Discord. I've played with over 50 different people and about half of them were not helpful, annoying with their backseating and impatient.

Discord is the problem there.

Discord attracts a very specific subset of gamers and that almost never is anything you'd want to be around in my experience, it's why I got off of Discord altogether like 3-4 years ago.

Watch video on the guy on youtube saying how to deal with mobs in each map his name is notlike this very useful then watch guide on your class and build, it's mostly learning, skill is more powerful than gear as they show

So how you learn this game is by leaving the game and watching countless hours of youtube? cool sounds like even the devs dont want new players.

The game is free to play at least download before pretending to know what you're talking about.

I did try it and was trying to learn some more about it but every forum post just says to watch youtube.
