worse results is an exaggeration but your post points at something clearly true about the game. some classes require much more effort to be effective than others.
I'm always the first person on my team to call gaming sessions cuz performance on wiz drops significantly relative to other classes when you're tired.
despite this ranger and rogue are still the 3rd and 4th most played class respectively.
wiz has a place cuz it's an effective answer to the frontline PDR and cleric meta, as well as locks and druids. rogues have a place cuz Cut Throat is perhaps the best answer to wiz and lock.
ranger is the premier ranged phys dmg class. while I've seen even great rangers get out rangered by Survival Bow bard, I'll save my thoughts on how imba bard has been for months for another thread
right now it's generally accepted that wizs are at their strongest in trios and rogues are at their strongest in solos.
Edit: to be clear, right now I believe all classes are viable in solos. they're obviously not equally as strong in solo dungeons
Cleric in particular does everything rogues do but better.
They deal more dmg, tank more, jave armor pen with maces + magic dmg that almost nobody has resistance to and they have spells too and can heal.
What can a rogue do? Go invisible and move 7 steps to pop out and get 1 hit by the barbarian when he turns around? Some trash magic DOT that deals like 20 total damage if you stab 8 times?
The devs dont seem to understand that strength and vigor are the only stats that matter.
A class based on light armor and the most worthless stats dex/agi just does not work you deal no damage and die faster than a druid rat.
Wizard, Rogue and ranger solo are just a massive handicap, they need some actually decent class to stand in front of them and block damage.
