Cyclops and cave troll is impossible

how are you supossed to kill these things solo when all they need to do is mess up one movement order and you're preety much dead, i kept close to a cyclop's right side and he just suddenly does a charge right in my face i manage to dodge all 3 swings but then he just stomps before i can even side step away in time and im dead, what the hell is this?

i acctualy almost killed cyclops before the rocks started falling, i've gotten preety good at it but i seriously need help with either the cyclop or cave troll when they do thier AOE swings every time i am one shot by those simply because im too close and swinging while they do it...

My issue is that its really REALLY time consuming and risky, you're bassicly fighting the entire dungeon duration if you're going solo for both cave bosses and i feel like its just better to do them in trios but the slower classes are kinda not having a chance

just gotta practice. everyone who farms Gob Cave bosses went through this

I never bothered with troll because i couldn't be assed going in, dying and repeating. today after about 3hrs i did it twice back to back. Watch a video, learn the patterns and you will get it. Just practice with base kit

Invest in move speed. Move speed trumps all in this game

I never was able to beat him until I’ve seen a good player who killed me, then gone to kill Cave Troll. When I’ve seen how he did it, I tried it myself, and did it first try with base gear.

It was a warlock class, so at least I know how to do it as warlock. I’m pretty sure I’ll fail all other classes since I haven’t seen how to do it with them.

My current Cave Troll kill score: 1.

Of course there was luck involved, because I didn’t know every move perfectly, and there was quite some deadly situation where I was just plain lucky. Most of moves is predictable though. If I gonna make another try, there are high chances I’ll do it, but not 100%, I feel like 70% more like.

So answer is: watch other players, see if anyone beats troll and how. It is possible. Not sure about Cyclops because I haven’t even seen it once, and don’t know where it is.

Fun fact killing them with rogue with grey gear is torture because those grey daggers tickle them.

So did you succeed after watching the video or was it putting it to practice after 3hours?

Seems a video only gets you so far is all.

I think basing skipping important learning lessons and making bosses that punishing really isn't a good mix, the entire learning of this game isn't inside the game, you gotta go on youtube and watch people that dedicated hundreds of hours to get good at it, it's really overkill and probably pushing a lot of people away from the game honestly

It's in the game. You can spectate people to learn how to do it. Get good.
