$30 isn't much and given the situation that the game is now F2P backed by Paid players.
A discount to the game price is a slap in the faces of those who paid to bring you the enjoyment you clearly take from playing Dark and Darker.
Where's my discount?
If you decide to buy it before sale started then u should not cry when sale start.
Thats not exactly how the history of this game happened though.
We aren't talking about games that have been around for 5 years and have lost the luster making their price change to attract players.
This game clearly doesnt need to focus on attracting player, it's doing well so why should it be discounted?
I never had the opportunity to get a discount for it, so where's mine? Thats the argument.
Regardless, Steam Sales don't reflect on in-game Shop Items as they have it set. So the argument in its self is moot.
Any 'Discount' would have to be a direct price change from the in game shop. I don't see why they should change their pricing at this point. Maybe 5 years from now? But they have actually stated that they do worry about how their Paid Supports feel about pricing and game value for F2P.
You are crazy ?
1- You basically say that the games that have discounts are those that are already old, every day I see games that were recently released and are already with discounts, including many of them being famous and from big companies, this is not a problem at all, in fact True, it doesn't mean much
2- You also mentioned that the game is doing well, honestly it doesn't have as big a community as it should in fact, smaller games manage to have a bigger audience than dark and darker, including one of them envolve stage 2 which still manages to have a bigger community than dark and darker, even if the game is dead
3- A discount I think is difficult, but if it had a regional price it would be great, because if the audience increases the game sells more, even if it costs 1 dollar the full version would already sell more than it sells now, I believe the devs will do this over time, because in the end regionalization of prices only makes values fairer everywhere, the same effort that is needed for a person to earn 30 dollars in a first world country, a person in a poorer country needs to have the same effort to earn just 5 dollars (example)
