Warlock kill them instantly because they are a rat
Cleric watch your barb crush, cast AOE prayer and kill the rat
Barb crush, achilles strike on throwable
Fighter high action speed, bow the rat, crossbow the rat, throwable the rat
Bard throw drum at the rat, cast aoe damage on the rat
Who's left?
If you can't kill a rat which has almost 5 hp max then you are punishing yourself not the enemy

Didnt know a torch deals damage when thrown.
