Am I the only one having problems with the healing spells of the Cleric?
And don't even start with "git gud".

When I try to heal or protect my team, even when standing 1 meter from them I still heal or protect myself.

sadly, in a nicer term, it just takes practice to aim your spells to hitbox them w/ spells and no auto target your self

well, rubber banding, folks moving, heat of combat, ect ect. but yes, its a unforgiving and skill based game, despite the shallow complaints of the newer players who fail to get the game or how to play it

It takes some time, so yeah git gud, without saying git gud I guess. But even for me as a cleric main with 900+ hours, I will occasionally fumble because another player is blocking me from healing our main melee guy or I simply missed. But that could also be on me, or our lack of team communication, before a PvP fight started. I need to hug the main melee guy in the back, but they're usually faster than clerics, especially if they're buffed. So either I was too slow, not reacted fast enough or we should've communicated better before engaging.

I do kind of like the hardcore aspect and skill shot nature of the main healing spells holy light and lesser heal, but they could be tuned to a bit more forgiving, by like increasing the hitscan and/or a green character outline when targetted.

Also sanctuary heals very decent and is AoE, but sometimes it's tricky cause it will heal the enemy as well.

I'd also consider taking overheal, in preparation towards a fight throw a sanctuary and top them off with shield. That will give your team a decent boost starting out.

I've played 6 days now, and found just doing a little bit of video watching, like "2024 How to Fight ALL Enemies on Ice Caves/Abyss" by NotLikeThis helped ALOT to make my intro into the game much easyer

Welll, I don't think people are having a problem to play it. But some hints would go along way, for an examlpe that the reticle would change color when you're in range of the spell to hit your team.

this game reminds me of 2.0, aka 2.deadly, D&D. and for some reson folks are beging for it to be made into 5.friendly

just practice your aim, in a few days it will not be a problem anymore, aim for center mass around torso, dont be affraid to take one more second to make sure you re on them, better to get a heal half the speed than waste a heal, to help with that, get closer to your friends, the closer you are to them the harder it is to miss

Also "get good" for me just means "get some more practice you can do it man i believe in you" so.. get good :)
