tldr i only played this game while its free
the first time it launched there was a ring that closed in forcing interaction between players who stayed too long now i rarely see a person and the escape methods are also conviluded and not explained the map shows a boat but theres like 90% chance there wont be one there the loot seems complete garbage as well i killed 2 minibosses in the ice map and they dropped worse loot than one tiny chest
i also dont remember exactly but the games felt like they laster longer in 2022 now 15 minutes u barely get to play kill a couple rooms of mobs exatract and repeat theres no reason or way to find and fight players or bosses its just a waste of time and not fun

The boat loops around. It exits, then comes back after a few minutes.

You progress, get better gear, clear PvE faster, 15 minutes is more than enough to get your inventory stacked to the brim. Best loot is find in locked chests and royal coffins, not mini bosses, although they have a chance to drop golden key.
Also PvP encounters will increase as you progress and players get better, because other players (besides HR bosses) offer the best loot, plus there are quite a few player kill quests we all need done.
Give it 50+ or so hours, and you'll see.

Also, if you equip a gear score of 25+ before going into an expedition, player will be in average better so more chance to encounter one.
