Tavern - an error has occurred. code : 21

Has anyone else had this problem and if yes, did you find a solution?
Every time i press play, doesn't matter if it's on steam or blacksmith launcher, i get this error. None of the "fixes" that are floating around worked and the only thing that does kind of work is reinstalling the game + launcher and then sometimes i can play one session. Next time i press play it won't start again. Game was working perfectly fine one or two wipes ago.

Well lads it's not looking good for us. Seems like only a few people have that problem so there is no need to fix it. Any way you still should fill out a bug report on their discord to push it a little bit. Maybe that'll get their attention.

i was getting error 16 since i installed about 2 weeks ago after the update i started the game actually got to play for about 3 hours and ever since i been getting this code 21 ♥♥♥♥ ive tried reinstalling tried downloading and playing off steam same thing

Yeah, I can sometimes load it up but only after hitting play countless times. Sent an email to the devs all they said was we can see you loaded in the game recently. Meaning we don't really care about your issue......

Just got this error as well. I restarted my pc, and it ran but had what seemed to be resolution issues?? or something similar with video output. My NVIDIA was set to settings that did not match my pc specs. Maybe this helped, but still do not know why I received an error.

I found the solution, just launch and restart the game after the error message until it fixes itself.

I clicked play about 12 times, and now it works again!

Not sure if they changed something but today and yesterday i was able to start the game after the 2nd try. Last week i gave up after like twenty times. I hope it stays like that for a while. Still have no idea what really causes this error, it's just so inconsistent and unpredictable. But yes like mentioned above just keep pressing play until it hopefully works.

Sounds like some kind of memory error specific to hardware. Ending task and trying repeatedly is about the best option until the issue is properly isolated.

Same ♥♥♥♥, how to solve it? Worked fine before, but last "hotfix" broke something
