How does ai aggro work?
Guy was being attacking by a mummy, he runs away a few steps and it turns around and comes after me when im a whole room away, and then for the next 3 mins it soley aggroed me and not the guy dancing around attacking me, he even walked by it a few times and touched it and the mummy just ignored him, laser focused on me even tho he was the mummy's original target.

He had free reign to attack me in the small confined space as I couldnt focus on either the mummy or the player and he killed me and the mummy still ignored him as he looted my body next to it.

Ive seen hordes of enemies attack a guy and some break off to come after me just for getting in the same room and not even attacking, so how did this guy magicly become invisible to this mob?

If you do damage to the enemy it aggros only on you until someone does more damage than you did. Then it will switch targets.

If no one has done damage to the mob, it will aggro onto whoever is closest.

This is wrong in every game that tries to mix pve and pvp elements. The aggro should randomize once X players are in range or possibly even split evenly across all players in combat vicinity. If you were attacking a pack of wolves and someone else jumped into the fray, the wolves aren't going to ignore that person. They would consider you both a threat. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid how games like this lock aggro on one player and allow other players to essentially "team up" with the mobs to take someone down if they just attack after their opponent has started a fight. It goes against the idea of engagement in this game. You can basically just wait until you hear someone fighting and always have the upper hand with no consequences.

I jumped down into a pack of wolves once and was fighting them and got ambushed by a rogue. I drank an invis potion and they all turned on the guy attacking me but he ran away. When I came back visible ALL of them re-attacked me, like from the next room. It just feels stupid and cheesy. SOME of them should've stayed aggro on him instead of turning around instantly and all focusing on me. Would be WAY more fun if the ambusher had to take some kind of chance that possibly X# of mobs might turn on them. This would force them to wait and engage after the fight making a lot of the encounters more fun. Rangers would be able to still take shots at you while fighting but you can always take the fight into a smaller area forcing them to follow or wait. For a game to feel fair and fun there need to always be options for counter play. Chasing someone down easily with help from the mobs simply because they chose to play the game and actually attack monsters is stupid.

It would be a great change IMO to have randomized or even guaranteed split aggro evenly among all players. Imagine a 3v3 scenario where everyone attacked and the monsters randomly attacked a new target giving everyone something else to deal with. it would be great lol

Speaking of invisibility, it's really stupid when I go "poof", and then the AI just stands there looking at me.
