Any tips for the berserker guy on the frost map?

Multiple times I get my ass handed to me by this goober with two axes, and I'm pretty much forced to fight him because he gets aggro'd when I leave my spawn area. For those more experienced than me, do ya'll got any ways I can kick this dude into the ground?

If I have to cheese him so be it, I just want this specific spawn to not be a death sentence.

first thing I do when I get roflstomped by a mob is look up videos like this

Get elevation over him most of spawns I remember there's always a ladder/ramp where the zerker spawns. Find the sweet spot and he won't come up to the level you're at and just get stuck swinging to the wall so you can do pokey on his head right above him.

Jump to be safe when he swings if he's stuck a little too close to you for comfort.

if youre not extremely squishy i just had a lot of success walking around him, sometimes crouching or jumping away. Sometimes he lands a hit mainly with the first attack of his combo but if i play cleric or other melee class i can usually tank a couple hits.
