The static attribute increases by 1. For example, green gear might have Strength 1, blue Strength 2, purple Strength 3, yellow Strength 4, etc.
The number of random attributes also increases by one. Green gear might have 1 extra stat, blue 2, purple 3, yellow 4, etc.
You have 10 active gear slots, so the difference between Epic and Legendary gear would be 10 static attributes and 10 random attributes, plus the difference in weapon damage, armor rating, etc.
The ranked season has already started.
Also, you can easily die even in full Epic/Legendary gear. Do not get attached to your gear. You always "rent" it from the dungeon and it will claim it back when the time comes. It might even be the very first game you wear that gear. Especially if you say that you are a new player. Might make sense to do a few rounds of high-roller without the costly gear to learn the ropes, as the enemy attack patterns are a bit different than in normal dungeons.
