Most of the time you can stay around your area and no one will bother you.
I see, i just fought a player with a mace, shield, and even spells
He removed 80% of my hps with spells, magic seems op is it not ... ?
Really even high gear score is not a winning factor, you need a good build with attributes that actually help you.
Bonus: you will also not always be in a pvp situation so you got breathing room to learn the game and work out movement and understand the weapon and skill use of your character. Situational awareness and positioning can win you more fights than hold W and swing
Well I try to learn it but i keep being killed by wizards mate
Got a replay? I can give you a debrief.
Sorry I do not, the first one kept casting some green AOES under me, removing 30% hps per hit
The second same, but i couldn't see what, I only saw a trail of fire behind him
If you try using magic you'll see that it's a pain in the arse, as it involves pressing the hot key to open up/hold the spellbook, then another to prepare just to cast something. So casters that can surprise someone have an advantage as they can prepare properly, but if you catch them unaware, then they have to retreat to get breathing room in order to cast. I'd say if facing a caster, don't take it in the face, retreat and let them waste their spell.
(I almost had a caster that was running through my area and didn't notice me, but I died in a most idiotically comical way... he came in through one closed door, and ran over to another while being chased by a goblin, and while he was opening the other door, I ran over to whack him on the head with my axe, which clanked off the overhead doorframe, then tried again but hit the goblin chasing him instead, then tried a 3rd time but by now he was turned to me and casting while retreating... able to get some slow or entangle off... then I ended up swarmed by mummy spiders and the goblin that now was after me, plus some random trap I ran over. The whole thing should have been an easy decapitation hit from the first swing lol. Oh well, next time).
#1 - no.. you won't even see them, I'm on my second day and all I see on the kill feed is people dying to NPCs.
#2 - no.. I've duel'd almost all classes if not all classes at this stage, I didn't few anything was off.. died to basically all classes before killing all classes, but there are classes that works betters vs certain classes and I find that to be very normal and acceptable.
Also quick question !
I'm playing as a fighter, but cleric seems better somehow ? It's basically the same BUT with spells ?
well, I don't think its the same.. and I reckon is more about how you focus gear on certain attributes and in the Cleric case, you would need to decide either Melee Focus or Spell Focus - or maybe a hybrid, I don't know.. however, you will have an easier time as Cleric, I want to start one today and check it out - you wear plate, cast heals and hit.. doesn't look bad.
As a fighter you should of pressed the advantage, the wizard will die in 2-3 hits from your blade to the noggin.
The warlock you just gotta chase avoiding its spell throws, you can block a lot of them with your shield (not the pass through ones)
Fighter has a lot of sustain, its main weakness is barbarian when the barb pops its shouts (after the fighter can press)
I recommend shield+sword build with crossbow to poke
You should always poke and press the advantage, use cover/shield to advance.Sheathe weps to move faster when needed.
Fighter is a highly versatile unit, you can be anything from a plate tank, to a sword wielding light armored maniac. Your main weakness is being nuked with magic or bursted down, your main strenght is mitigating damage and melting most classes upclose.
If you have a shorter wep always keep in mind: long weps more easily hit walls, hold that door, use your foe's strenght against them.
Thanks mate !
Also uhh i play with a friend but ...
What's the point of ANY escape path, if we can't use them together ?
3 times one of used a rope or a stair, leaving the other alone to die versus 2 players.
HOW do you escape TOGETHER ??
