If you want more than 1 class yes its worth it, If your just enjoying going back in with one class you can probably wait
I was surprised how much of the game they gave to the F2P accounts

No, this game will die when people realize how garbage the balance is, this games looks like some cool extraction looter, but in its core it is a stat check simulator, until they start balancing around skill not numbers, this game will continue to be garbage with high tier loot

yes

I thought it was worth it so that I could have multiple characters. There's not much to do, though, past 15-20th level.

If you want to play more than one class, do harder dungeons (high roller) with better loot, want to horde gold by buying & selling on the auction house, or unlock cosmetics (I don't think f2p can get bluestones right?) then yes.

If none of that interests you and you want to run some dungeons with your buddies and maybe get some PvP for a few hours a week, then probably not but I would still recommend unless spending $30 is something you need to think about first.

Hello! I started playing this week with free to play and had an absolute blast just on low level dungeons, and there is so much more to explore, tons of depth and different styles of play either as a Solo, Duo, or Trio. At the core of the game is PvP, however I have had all sorts of PvP encounters, I've been steamrolled in solo by two people who decided to team up randomly. I've been an absolute unit and killed all who stood in my path, i've also been merciful and dropped potions for random players. I've gone to the 2nd floor with randoms I met in the Gathering Hub and had a pleasant, albeit scary, experience. This is a great game, I purchased the full edition and reccomend it as a casual player who has died my fair share, losing thousands of gold sometimes. The ups and the downs, its very different and I would reccomend it to everyone.

Thanks for the replies guys i decided to wait it out for now since me and my buddies don't play much and don't plan on taking it seriously or do high roller yet anyway.

Just play free version and buy it if you want. In free version, you can experience most of the game.

Paid version just gives you access to more character slots, so you don't need to stick to one character per season, and access to selling items on market and HR mode (which are just harder dungeons).

If you have interest in the game, then yes it is worth it.

The free to play model is great for new players to have a taste and learn the ropes of the game, but it locks you out from geared runs which would drastically change the output of your class and the gameplay when it comes to pvp and high-roller dungeons. Not to mention the perks of multiple character slots, the shared stash tab and full use of the market.
