Archers = Unavoidable damage?

I'm genuinely at a loss as to what you are supposed to do to clear them.
Their shots are instantaneous and undodgeable, hell they can 180 shoot behind them too.
Its ironic how they are 1000 times deadlier in melee range.

after they shoot, you push them and swing once, then you dodge and swing again.

you can't W key them carelessly.

just like most PvE in this game, you bait the shot when you're behind the cover or dodge at last second, then swing, repeat.

Very much avoidable by sidestrafing if you don't stand right next to them when they shoot. There are even advanced ways to dodge arrows, by crouching with your head lowered so arrows go above your hitbox or if you are in melee range you can switch strafe direction just as they fire and they will fail to lead you with the shot

If you are facing the crossbow skeletons you can move right up to them and when they fire just look completely down and it should fly over your head.

Dodge the first shot before you do that though.

You cant dodge an arrow that gets instantly spawned inside your body
Their push attack is so fast that you are just guaranteed to get hit too if you are too close
Only possible way is to block it with a shield or run behind a wall every 2 seconds

I normally doge their first arrow go in and put a few swings in and start strafing then rinse and repeat till done

the frost ones can be dodged by moving to the sides or moving back sideways.
their push attack ALWAYS happens if you are close so you can bait it out and get 2 hits on their heads

dont move back with S as it slows your movement speed. Always move backwards with A or D and look to the sides.

Their shots are not instant. They have travel time. If you are standing right in front of them obviously you are going to have a hard time dodging them. Step back a bit. Dodge left and right and time your attacks. Its really not that complicated.

Also for more advanced use their first shot always aims for the head so you can duck under them if you time it properly. If they do the second shot it will body shot you but they do a lot less dmg.

You gotta dip dodge dive duck and dodge. I can matrix under those arrows or side step them, they are also blockable with sheild.

Nah its way easier than that I already figured it out a while ago
I was just standing too close to them all you gotta do is walk laterally and they will miss 100% of the time
Then you walk up slap them in the head and repeat
Its mind numbingly boring but at least its safe
