Unauthorized/Debugger Program detected... Anyone got a solution?

i've seen a couple ask a similar question... but i haven't seen anyone give a proper solution or a better answer than "Don't cheat lol"
Never had any issues in any other game or during playtests...

Already tried to close programs that might cause issues like RTSS,OpenRGB and PowerToys..
It still didn't work. i proceded to close even more programs but nothing worked.

Anyone got a clue how to solve this or see what is causing this issue?

overlay and reshade programs have slowly became outlawed by anti-cheat software. If you run any of those, try closing those too.

Simply closing cheat software is not enough to get past the anticheat tools. You need to actually uninstall it. I agree its hard to know what specifically it is blocking unless it tells you.

What I can tell you for a fact though its not any of those 3 programs you just listed and its not reshade as the other commenter mentioned.

wow... i didn't know they also cared about what you got installed... i had cheat-engine installed for a completely unrelated thing (mostly for the speedhack tool since that allows me to speed up my games during game/mod development so i can faster debug stuff)

wow... i didn't know they also cared about what you got installed... i had cheat-engine installed for a completely unrelated thing (mostly for the speedhack tool since that allows me to speed up my games during game/mod development so i can faster debug stuff)

That is literally how the anticheats work. Its not just this game. They check what is installed against their list of banned programs. Cheat engine is commonly banned in a lot of online multiplayer games.

well.. this was the first game that ever complaint lol. Vanguard,EAC,Battleeye etc. never cared that i got it installed. only if i ran it atleast once i had to restart my pc

Have you actually uninstalled and even confirmed that is what is triggering it?

yes. i uninstalled Cheat-engine and now it works perfectly fine

Yeah now anticheats detect CE even if you use it for unrelated stuff which is kinda weird but understandable.

Honestly I don't know what cheat engine can or can't do to online games or dark and darker specifically but it is possible they can white list it later if its not an issue. I just know it is common for anticheat to block it.

Either way glad your issue is fixed and you can keep playing.

I watch streamer who has CE installed and I can see the icon on his desktop constantly when he switches apps and he can play without an issue.

It should be none of their concern what is installed on the pc if it is not trying to access the processes.

i would assume if they got a portable version, Ironshield won't be able to find it as easily. I had it installed in a way that shows it in the installed programs list so its very easily detectable.

It's possible it's also just installed on another drive than where the game is.

That isn't how installing things work. When you install a program it is entered into your root directory in windows and its associations are created. By just having a program in your root directory is enough for a lot of anticheats to flag it. Granted this is the most basic surface level of anticheat.

For me it was Valorant Client, or more so the Riotgameslauncher. Closed it and it went fine. An anticheat triggers an anticheat XD

Closing valorant/riot client fixed this for me
