1. At about 4 minutes remaining the exits start opening up. If you see a gate closed (that cant be opened with a lever) odds are its an exit and the torches on the side will light up blue meaning you can leave. If you see one of these and the gate is open and the torch is out, someone has already taken it.
Generally any blue icon on the map is an exit of some kind. Rope going up, portal,...etc. If you see blue runes in the ground that will be a stone pillar that makes a portal for you to escape that pops up near the end of the round.
2. You start losing life near about 1 minute remaining, get out asap.
3. IMO always have an escape plan. I tend to find an exit or two that I want and keep those in mind so I have a path to them if things go bad. I do this near the start so I am not in a rush to find an exit near the end and I die from rushing.
3. Shadows are your friend. Getting shot at by another player? Turn the torches off and hide/run.
4. NPC can be cheesed by jumping down stairs and running back up. Do what you need to survive and don't feel bad.
5. Talk to the squire merchant to set up your default starting equipment. If you are the ranger you can do this to get arrows back so you always start at 40.
will do
Movement penalties aren't applied while you're in the air either, so jumping right before you pull out a weapon or to quickly take a glance behind you for a tiny bit more distance before you're slowed.
DO NOT move backward in fight because you get a movement penalties while doing so. Priotirize forward, left or right movements.
Sheet your weapon if you don't need it and uses the walk button to make less noises
Red stairs means you'll go into Hell. You don't want to go there before you got some good stuff and better knowledge of combat.
Aim for the head as much as you can in order to deal the best damage output.
Your starting stuff will always been given to you, so don't worry about that.
