Clarification for the new players and the new patch

The game has just been patched and servers should be playable soon.

I just wanted to clarify what the following changes to normal mode means:

• To allow all players to experience the full loot extraction experience, we will begin testing an updated Normal mode.
  
• The gear cap for Normal mode dungeons has been increased from ‘Common’ to ‘Legendary’ grade items. (Keep in mind the gear cap can and will be adjusted in real time to a rarity that best suits Normal dungeons.)
  
• Gear score matchmaking is enabled for Normal mode dungeons.
  
• Normal mode dungeons are now split into two matching pools. The default matching pool is set at a maximum gear score of 25 to most closely match the previous Normal game experience where players were restricted to ‘Common’ gear. Players or teams with anyone having a gear score above 25 are placed in a more difficult ‘Normal' matching pool.
  
• Updated the gear score for Poor and Common items to have a lower gear score.
  
• Updated the gear score for Poor and Common Utility items to no longer provide any gear score.
  
• For utility items, only Poor and Common rarities will have their equipment score changed to 0.

What it comes down to:

Going forward you need to check your gear score:

• If your gear score <25 you will remain in normal mode, basically the same as it was before.
  
• If your gear score >25 you will enter normal mode in a higher gear bracket where you'll be competing with players up to legendary (orange) gear

>25 bracket will likely attract some experienced players that want to pubstomp new players, so be warned

you forgot to say that matchmaking is still base on your gear score.
it won't try to place you with people with super high score unless it can't find others that is around your gear score.

It was glitched for me. I had to play a round with the squire making me take off anything above common first. Not sure what you were trying to say but you clearly didnt read my post.

Well not my Fault you do not Mention that you Talkin about "For me it does not work ingame after patch" or anything else, makeing it clear you dont talkin about the Thread itself.

And yeah that Means propably that your Overall Gearscore isnt high enought? Or maybe something is Bugged or Glitched. Maybe your Game didnt Patch correctly, maybe the Devs made a Mistake and did not Activate it properly. Who knows, just saying "does not work" isnt really information to work with.

Understood. Yea, it still showed the message from before the patch at the screen to choose at the dungeon map selection screen and the squire made me take off some stuff. After I played a round, i went back to the dungeon selection screen and the "nothing above common" message was gone for normal mode and I was able to put the full kit on that it wouldnt allow me to use the previous attempt. I did not say "it doesnt work" I said that the message stating nothing above common was still there. Anyhow, it resolved itself after one round.
