I mean, I can pay that price if I want to, but for a game that is still in early access, with all respect it's too much.
They would do well to look at how Hunt Showdown monetizes their game with skins and copy that approach.
Edit: This does not count for regional pricing. I do think the devs need to fix that
You only Pay 30 Bucks once. Since Steam Release there is some Sort of F2P (yes its debatable, its more like a Demo-Access at this Point) so everyone could check out the Game.
Also it was meant to do this way, so all the Ppl bought the Game beforehand on their Website, to get the Game on Steam for Free, without handing out Thousands of New Keys and such.
So basicly everyone can play the Game via Steam now (if they want) and dont pay a thing, because you either get your "Upgraded" Account once you log in, or you get the F2P/Demo Account until you upgrade it to Full Version for 30 Bucks.
Limited free lets people play the game and see if they want to buy it and they already have cosmetics that you can buy with money. Have you played the game?
ah right okay, I've only played the free tier.
And at this price, its not easy to invite friends who are not familiar with PvP games
