I understand that the devs dont want guys going into normal dif dungeons with crazy gear, i dont either and it was a problem in beta. BUT only ever being able to bring common gear in or else pay 100 gold to go against those that may have actually good/crazy gear seems incredibly dumb.
Bringing in uncommon or even rare gear into normal difs doesnt seem like its some huge jump especially since how good the gear in this game can vary heavily. Like a blue weapon against a crazy purple one isnt even close so the blue is definitely much closer to the white, you know?
But even when talking armor the single stat increase and a liiittle bot more prot is barely any real advantage in combat when going against hard counters for classes. so what do i do with my barely better gear and that free helmet i found for next delve, sell it cause it wont ever match what hard diff players are comfortable with bringing in so mind as well sell it and wait to find or afford a full set of purple or good blue.
In short; Green and blue gear really seem like its only good for selling and nothing more, super annoying, L decision.

A few things:
1. A full set of blue gear vs a freshly spawned in character wins every single time assuming equally skilled players and no massively advantageous positioning.
2. Most games you can get through without running into players. You can pretty quickly build up gold in normals and then buy high roller viable gear from players.
3. High Rollers is meant to be risk vs reward. Your not meant to always come out of it with a gain.

It really removes the "extraction" part of the game. Now it's just an extra step to turn what's basically gold into coins + extra steps to get back your character to it's base gear state before starting a new match...

It's like you're playing a normal shooter but you have to cleanup stuff after each match.

And I don't see how this fixed the balance issue when it still exists in the high roll (which is supposed to be the meat of the game). In fact I don't understand how they decided to change the entire gameplay and game genre (not BR anymore, not really extract anymore) to fix a gear score issue. Just nerf the stats gaps between rarity ffs.

If they want to stick with those moronic decisions, they should at least add a new mode imho:

- Easy (which is the current normal mode)
- Normal (which would be the easy mode but you can take anything you want with you) - It costs no gold (= the game we all loved when they first released on Steam)
- High roll: no changes. That would actually be a very good idea to offer this mode so sweats can go there (for the season rewards)

Keep normal and high roll behind pay wall. Let easy mode as free and call the game a demo. Make it so be buy it from Steam.

=> Everyone would be happy, I think :D
