Dark and Darker

Can someone explain to me how to fight the druid 1v1?
I have the free version btw so just common gear unless I find something in the dungeon. I have fought two druids and they both cast the tree minion and then turn into a bear and maul me to death. I LVL 17 fighter.

the bear can't go through doors, but if they have a perk for it they can shapeshift instantly. Druids can be super slippery too, I think your specific 1v1 matchup is probably just really unfavorable.

Honestly from what I have seen if a good druid doesn't want to die they won't die. This doesn't necessarily mean they will "win" every fight but they have better escape tools than most classes.

yeah, very slippery. 1v1 you can't really do much about a fleeing druid. The only way I've ever caught one was having my team split up while chasing them so that one of us ends up cutting them off.

I suppose having a caster bring a bind or slow spell but those doesn't exactly last for milenia so you'd have to be very coordinated to make good use of them. Then there is the problem of "just bring a druid to counter druids 4head"

it can be a bit annoying, but I'm not even sure it is a problem if some classes are just really hard to pin down giving them the power to run away easily. With the old circle mechanic it wasn't even be that strong to be good at running away.
