I dont mind the rest, paying for slots its ok, paying for the trades its ok,.
I played normal with 2 friends that bought the game, i didnt bought, so i cant play with them except normals, but also the thing is that the loot you get goes to trash...there is no point in having that loot, cause your locked as a free to play, better loot? sell it, you cant use it.
And people can say, "then why dont you buy the game", well i could but why did they even put the game free, for people to try and to get more people into buying the game?
The game is in early access we see what will happen
People are blowing this out of proportion, especially that the game is literally free. You spent zero money on it.
That's how demos work, yes. They are giving you the opportunity to see if you like it enough to buy it, and they aren't limiting your time on it so you can take all the time in the world to decide. This is even mentioned on the store page.
"We hope that this version will give players a chance to experience some of what Dark and Darker has to offer, and to give players who have not played since the playtests a chance to see what's new before they dive into the full edition."
This is not meant to copy the Fortnite formula, its not that kind of game and it does not want to be. They have no interest in doing MTX more than necessary to maintain operational costs. You buy the game and for most people, that's it.
This normal mode was added last year, because there was a huge debate about "Timmy's" getting pwned. They then added normals as a level playing field mode, separate from HR (highroller). It was never meant as a way to gate new players from experiencing HR content, which seems to be way it's been spun on Steam.
Everyone can only use common items in normal raids so u won't get one shot across the map
U can make a new character as much as u wan't, no lvl, perk or ability restriction. Everyone can only use common gear in normal raids for balancing.
U get accesd to 3/5 raids. High roll is for people who know a lot about the game, that want to play rank etc. and have only epic and better gear.
