This game keeps on freezing my PC on startup

Not sure what's the issue but before my PC got bricked while starting the game, I saw the an error that says "Out of video memory-" or something of that sort.

Not sure what's causing this game to blue screen my PC 😒

Edit: (I've fixed it for me)
- First I went to the support page on Dark and Darker site and downloaded DirectX from the link they have provided.
- Also I've rescaled my PC screen to lower resolution. (From 4K to 2K)
- The game started normally at that point but I also went to the graphics settings and lowered the resolution in the game to 1080p.
- Finally, changed my monitor resolution back to 4K and the game is starting with no issue.

Same problem here, not sure what's happening. I've tried forcing it to ♥♥♥♥ resolutions to even get it to run but nothing.

Yeah I've already forced it to 1080p and it still doesn't work.
Also, tried to play it on the launcher you get from their main site, same issue.

Try reaching out to the discord for support, they managed to help out my brother who was having a similar issue

found the solution, put -11dx or something like that in launch settings. look up on google, i think its -11dx

I had this problem in another Unreal 5 engine game Robocop, but the latest Nvidia driver seems to solve the problem. Try downloading and installing Nvidia Driver 555.99.

It's not just this game, but all UE5 engine games have this video memory error pop up.
