Let me ask you. Why haven't you created a better game than Dark and Darker yet that meets all your expectations? It doesn't make sense.
No need to bootlick, IM messed up, and that's the simplest version of why this is happening.
Because they have a small team, a lot of different objectives to hit by certain deadlines due to seasonal content/summer gamefest announcement. And they launched on two platforms at once which is a ton of back end work to do. And also, until things are live, you never know whats going to be on fire and require putting out so its a bad idea to try too much at once.
