when making an account for the game you need a unique name, that should be enough. Having every character you make also need a unique name is strange and makes trying to have any cool name for a character really difficult, assuming you have 8 characters you need to come up with 9 total unique usernames

That literally isn't how anything works.

My account name for any random game is never going to be the same as my character name. If it is you are very very dumb lol. Like lets say I play wow. Account name and character name definitely not the same. That is pretty much universally true for every online game ever.
