How's duo/trio modes works here?

Selecting trio for example, but when dungeon starts i'm playing alone there. Where's my party and whats difference from solo-mode then? New player with free version.

The game has absolutely zero match making. It won't balance players or find you team mates. Best you can do is select if you want to play a map where solos, duos or trios are allowed, ofc, if you're playing solo you're gonna have a harder time on duo/trio maps.

Thank you for explaining! But jesus, no matchmaking at all? So the only real way to play with some teammates is to find ppl on discord or something...Well, pretty strange game

As a previous actual "DEMO" player, I can say that random duo/trio matchmaking is terrible in skill levels, that you are better off playing solo. Or like you said, find a team in Discord.
