On the other hand nothing stopped people from queuing up in purple gear and stomping everyone with common/poor in earlier playtests which sometimes felt like you were just handing your gear over to them at this point.
What kind of gear can you bring into normal matches? What's the point of finding top-quality gear if I can't ever use it?
Then what do I do with purples if I can't even use them?
You can bring common gear to normal matches, that would be any gear without any additional stats. You'll be able to use the higher quality gear if you have the paid version. Idk, tbh it feels like a very agressive and borderline abusive commercial bait. Or maybe it's just to flood the low level dungeons with noobs for a while again, idk.
Nothing, if you can't use it during the current match, don't even bother picking it up.
So, what, a white mystic vestments, heater shield, flanged mace etc?
Can paid players still use their purples right now?
You can drool over the thought of how many healing potions you can buy with the gold from selling it.
Yeah they can. Not on f2p matches but they can.
Starting to think I may just wasted 30$, game was so good at its first passage on Steam, wtf happened? Where's the shrinking zone? :'(
That's some rather aggressive paywalling.
and high roller is the mode that requires paying, so calling this game "free to play" is a bit of a stretch, even though a lot of players play normals only
