Most people die and lost most or all their equipped gear daily anyway. Not seeing the big complaint about wipes.

Wipe in this game is no big deal, as it doesn't take long to stack it back up, if you have the skills. And that's what this game is about: skill.

Extraction games that don't do seasonal wipes end up with completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up economies and an end point where wealth literally doesn't matter anymore. Just go in to it like you would Rust. You're not playing for permanent progression, you're playing to see how far you can get in one long-term session and then trying to beat that in the next one after everybody is reset.
