Error 16 on tavern

I am having a problem with dark and darker and cannot seem to find a fix anywhere. The game says it is running but does not appear on my task bar. Tavern will ask me to run it as a admin then it fails and gives me an error called error code 16. Please help me if you can.

try uninstalling tavern in the windows installed apps section then redownload the game what ever taven is it doesnt uninstall if you uninstall the game you have to manual do it

Same thing here. After the update yesterday it's no longer working. Tried updating drivers and windows.

Mine happens after I updated my GPU drivers, I rebooted nothing, clean reinstalled driver and rebooted and launched...
