It's because its a torrent link. You need to download it via a torrent downloader such as uTorrent or alike. If i'm not mistaken this is the torrent Ironmace reccomends "If you do not have a torrent client we recommend https://www.qbittorrent.org/".

You don't put it into the search bar, you add it as a torrent

im old and dumb, I downloaded Utorrent and cant figure out what I do with the magnet link lol.

First off uninstall Utorrent and get Qbittorrent its open source no malware, then click the icon top left that sais add magnet link.
