A bit surprising as they refer on a Twitter post that the price would be « extremely affordable » in early acces but I guess everyone has it own vision.
At the same time if they extend servers, improve gameplay it could worth the price fast…

I'll still buy it but I thought the same thing, to be honest I was expecting $20-$30

Really depends on how significantly the game is improved by release. It was easy to give a lot of things a pass because it was a free playtest, my level of expectations will go up significantly if i have to spend money and frankly, in my opinion, this is NOT a game with a $30 price tag in it's current state.

If they overhaul the crafting, have NPC quests (ala Tarkov), make the AI combat better, add in more floors/maps with incentives to go to them, then i'll start to view it as a product worth that much. Truthfully, they could make ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of money even just making it $20 for Early Access, and maybe raising it on release. if even 100k players bought at $20 a piece, that's a cool 2 million right off the bat, and i think that's a pretty conservative number of people who would buy it.

That said, that's just my take. If they want to charge $30-40 that's their prerogative, and i'm sure a lot of people would buy it for even more than that. I probably won't buy it for that much, but it's not like it matters to them or anyone else what i do.

I agree i think it all depends on how they work with the money they make from the game at least i hope they make constant updates for the first year or months

Personnaly my main condition are servers in all Europe otherwise it is a big no.
The game is correct but play at strict minimum at 60ms ( when I play around 10 on others game) and often get lag spike is not interesting. I could just for fun make video of rôle back which between frustration and laugh …

to be fair most games with similar levels of popularity seem to be around $50-60, so this could definitely be considered affordable from a relative standpoint.

At 50-60$ it would be a big no.
Reasons are simple :
1) servers
2) lack of content.
Only games I saw with similar price in ea could be tarkov under some package And star citizen. But both have content which justify it partially.

I mean I would probably pay the $30-$40 but I'd really hope they would polish the overall game up quite a bit before adding that price. Definitely not at that price range in its current state.

This PvP game is worth easily $40-50 based on demand. Probably go up to $60 on release once polished.

$30-40? heck no man.. I'm pretty sure they're going to sell inventory slot whatnot too, which is crucial in actually playing? These guys charging like Tarkov.. I ain't buying. $30-40 +$20 is of a price of a full AAA RPG game, which takes whole lot more to develop.

From what i've played, it's barely worth $15. That's an atrocious price hike for a game that's just going to foster the community to be a toxic mess.

Well in its current state I'd say it's only worth $15-20 but it's only a demo at this point.. I'm sure down the line when they polish everything it'll be worth the $30-40.. $60 is definitely pushing it.

too much for this kind of game 15-20 max

Guys.... Guys. You are basing your valuation on your experience in a play test. More dungeons, more features, more races, skill balancing-- its all coming. Hopefully they experiment and get more creative with dungeon design. In my opinion-- this game is already worth 25$. Many early access games have been in the 30s. 30-40 dollars is not expensive. 50-60 would be, yes. 15-20 is peanut money. Honestly-- this is a team of developers, and not just one guy. They need to make enough money that would justify their time and effort. I can make 30-40 dollars in an hour and a half of work.

I don't know about that. Even polished, there are games I'd rather play instead of dropping that much. A multiplayer game is only as good as its community, and with this-

It fosters a toxic 'git gud' community. Similar to Dark Souls, but in Dark Souls, you *know* where people stand. White/Gold/blue, Red/Purple(in ds3).

You knew what you were getting into the moment you saw someone.
