I cant equip weapons

Hello, I just download a game and It seems that I can t equip my weapons and torch and I am allowed run fist only. [1] & [2] Doesnt work.

Any idea where can be a problem?

This just happened to me with items in slot 3 and 4. It went away after about a minute. Not sure what might have caused or fixed it.

Did you check the mapping of your keyboard ? On azerty keyboard those controls are not the same.

I have the same problem very often, I think it's because of the bad network code. The game doesn't work very well if your ping is jumping

Thanks! This, it is so confusing as not even the shift key make it work. Heck, not even the num pad seems to be recognized as 1-9. After reapplying the key it works as expected!

That's not bad network code, that is literally lag. You even stated if your ping is jumping....that's lag

I haven't had this issue but a simlar one not being able to pick up items, it will sometimes auto drop items I right click on.

Network smoothing , Qos management, Predictive networking, these are all real. Sure at a certain point none of these things will help a laggy connection. But they do have tools at their disposal.

I had the same problem, but I solved it by setting custom keys in the options. I think the problem was that I wasn't using an English keyboard
