I've been running goblin caves non-stop for a couple of days (well, I have to work and live my life too), but whenever I'm on, I've been spam running it and while it's probably 1 escape every 20 or so runs, I'm still having a blast and haven't felt like the numbers have been wrong.
To each their own of course, but I honestly think that Goblin Caves has just the right amount of people and just the right amount of portals. You have to remember the game is designed to not let everyone win.
i find that with 9 new players can get out quite consistently because there is less pvp.
with 11 player you start seeing alot of geared player attacking new player indiscriminately.
Not from what i experience. In the beginning It was ok, but at this point on the playtest as more people learn how to play, i'm seeing almost no player dead untill the circle is at their second to last iteration. It's been getting real bad for new players meeting all those tin can fighters and barbs at the very end. I know the new player's perspective because once i reach level 15 with a class, i simply roll another class to know them all. So i'm always running poor and low level, therefore i'm doing real tests on what t his game is for low level new players. And its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. Nothing they couldnt adjust in the future though, i hope.
My experience has mostly new players attacking on sight.
There's the occasional geared up player looking for easy fights, but mostly I run into people just trying to do gear runs, or noobs who think they can win a fight.
11 hasn't really changed much IMO
Half the server can escape if they survive until the end.
maybe that new player attacking on slight is because they have bad experience being one tab? and feel like if they don't make they first move they will just die?
back when it was 9 new players didn't attack on sight, they see you and you don't attack them they go on their business. you don't see that with 11 any more.
Yes you do. I've had plenty of games where nearly the entire server decided not to fight.
Wish I had recorded it because at one point, 7 of us were in the wooden staircase room just fighting goblins together.
It really doesn't matter what mine or your experience was honestly. It's about stats, not how people feel.
And the stats say there is plenty of room for extraction for 11 players.
Seriously...it's 2 more people, that's nothing. If they had added 5 or 6 more, than that would be problematic.
i think you will be surprised to see how much less people is making it out after 11.
Ya know what, you're right. Your experience is exactly the way it is for everyone else. Your opinion is the correct one.
Two additional players is absolutely broken and completely unfair. It's simply not physically possible to deal with those two additional players.
They should probably drop it down to 6 anyway, that way everyone can get out if they want to.
