Give more starter kits a campfire.
I'm not a perfect player and the enemies can be quite janky, hitting you even when you dodge correctly or sometimes applying unavoidable damage.

I think giving a few more of the starter kits a basic campfire would do wonders for smoothing out how frustrating the combat feels.

Just buy 3 potions for 18 gold

Probably not going to be a popular opinion, but I dont think rangers should have one in their base kit. I think nobody should get one for free.

I agree with you. I think they should get some bandages or a dagger or something instead.

Ranger is probably the class that needs it the least, tbh. He already has 3 traps, which is huge. If any class needs starter kit improvement, it's rogue.

i would agree if the starter bow didn't do such god awful damage.
like any bow after that is miles better. the jump is just crazy how a green bow is like double damage compared to default. the campfire is really vital for solo ratting.
theres no fight i can win right off the bat if i can't get multiple headshots.

It's a roleplay thing probably. But gameplay wise, ranger needs it the least. Playing half naked almost nobody can touch a ranger.

I think they're the strongest class, if you can aim. They excel in every category on the high roller leaderboards, but kills - where they are still almost on par with the top classes.

Primarily i'm talking rogue, who is not surviving to earn 18 gold in the first place.

no rogues dont need more

I think that it should be in all starter kits. It takes a long time unravel un to the ground and it does not heal too much. We do not start with bandages or potions, give us something.. The fireplace makes you in to a massive target since you are basically afk while using it.

Starter kit rogues are causing you problems and not just dying to the third enemy they see?
Skaer Feb 13, 2023 @ 8:25am
I'd rather have a real weapon than a campfire tbh. Starting weapons on some classes are disgustingly bad

Completely unrelated. We're talking survivability not utility. Most rogues never survive long enough to see a lockpicking screen with the starter kit anyway.
it's not about meta or utility or w/e it's about having a theme appropriate loadout and a ranger having a campfire kit is textbook.
