100 runs - 0 exits

I have ran 100 runs with 0 escapes...
Multiple times I was the last player alive, 2 times I was in the dead center when the darkness consumed the rest of the map, I have killed several hundreds of NPCs and maybe a dozen players.....

I have not escaped once nor seen a portal .....

The game *can* be super fun and exciting, but how can you expect someone to accumulate gear when they cannot escape once....

Blue stone pillars come up from the ground. You have to channel on it to summon a portal once the portal is up walk into it. Tip you can hear them rise from the ground which sounds like stone grinding. I probably escape 1/5 times now, but when I first started I would just die doing stupid stuff.

I love the concept of the game and really want to get in it...

Not saying I am a top gamer, but I am no nOOb and usually able to play well...

But I think extraction needs to be easier

You need to listen to for a specific sound, like stones grinding together that indicates a portal stone raising from the ground, Blue ones = exit portal, red ones take you to the next floor (stronger enemies/more loot)

Generally in solo mode in the smallest 2-3 zones at least a few should spawn within those zones, although I have also seen it happen when no portals spawn so you can just be unlucky.

in the group dungeon the portals are seemingly more sparse but theyre are also more so you can get out fairly easily as soon as the first zone closes if youre lucky with a spawn.

Red portals are the only way to escape.

The escape portal stones appear after a certain triggers like Time: "last 2 minutes remaining" or Number of players: "last 3 players remaining".. The stones appear all around the map inside the safe zone, they make stone grinding sound when they appear.. In the maps "The Goblin Cave" and "Crypt", the game gives a message on the top right corner (by default) when the stones appear.. it would be something like "1 Escape portal has appeared".. IDK about the inferno map, because the game says these text messages wont appear + I havnt played it yet.... And lastly, during the end two type of portals appear Red and Blue portals, Red gets you to the deeper part of the map where even tougher enemies will come to fight you.. whereas Blue takes you back to your lobby (Home).. These are all the stuff I learned these past 2 days, hope this helps..

I can't even contemplate not seeing a portal in 100 games but pretending you aren't a nuclear noob.

Keep an ear out, the stones are incredibly loud and tend to be next room to the center of the circle. Headphones help greatly to locate them, additionaly try to not be the last guy, people will have taken portals already so you may be left with only hell portals and far-ish into the zone blue portals.

How can you play 100 games and not even ever see a portal and be at the end game many times? ..Something isn't adding up here.

Did you see game videos where players found a blue obelisk, go to it, interact for about 10 secs and THEN portal appeared near this blue stone?

I mean, it is ok now to be last man standing 1 - 3 times and NOT get blue stone in the circle... But not dozen times in a raw.

BTW, suggestion for game mechanics:
Last man standing MUST get the portal in the circle on his floor ALWAYS. Even if it is extra one portal.

Oftentimes in goblo caves you can end up on the wrong floor and not have any portals spawn on your floor nor any way to the other floor. I'm pretty sure it's not intended and the portal spawning needs to be a bit smarter instead of ensuring your death if you take the wrong floor 2 circles before the end.

100 runs and no stone? Kinda hard to believe. Unless you die in the first 3 minutes always.
