love gameplay, love concept, love setting, hate the pvp

I get it, this is a battle royale(though I went in completely blind and had no idea this was a battle royale until thirty minutes into playing) I enjoy everything about this game except the pvp and would love a version or even something like this that can be played solo or cooperatively without the pvp element. Or at the very least, let me keep some of my loot without having to wait for the match to end, spectating in any game is boring.

And no, I am not a "casual", I just personally do not enjoy pvp games and never have. and no other game looks or plays like this, it was almost the perfect game for me, I would legitimately spend over a hundred dollars on a finished version if it could be played exactly as it is now only with an option for pvp to be turned off.

THIS. This game is a blast, UNTIL you get chased down by a fully armored kill squad. I even like having other players running around with me, that's cool. I would love a second queue that's the exact same but they disable damage to other players. It would be just *Chef's Kiss* perfect.

Personally i don't see this being fun without the pvp unless drastic changes are made but i do understand not wanting pvp it's very frustrating to get mowed down by a lvl 20 and feel like you couldn't do anything

Goblin Caves feels like PvE most matches. People die a LOT down there. If they do it right, a PvE mode could be fun, but for now I kind of enjoy meeting actual people in the dungeon and seeing how they react. Some are nice, some just charge at you swinging, and some are so transfixed with your existence that they get cut in half by a random skeleton walking up behind them.

well, the entire concept of losing your loot if you die is a bad idea on any online game. one small lag hiccup and a barbarian smashes your head cus your raised shield block didnt register, bye bye all your gear? all because your superpowered 1gb fiber internet took a tiny fart? it makes ALL the sense on single player games having Iron Man game mode, where if you die once, youre dead lol. all this does for me, is makes me want to cram my stash full to the brim and never ever use anything but money for potions.

I mean that's unfortunate, sorry that happened to you. You'll be back on your feet in no time, though, goblin caves makes gearing up a little easier if you're experienced with the game - less people to contest with.

I think the idea of losing everything if you die works pretty well, that risk factor adds tension. It's all about what you're willing to risk, and if you're not willing to risk that nice gear then. . . yeah, leave it in your stash until you get your friends on and can roll around in safety. You do you!

Of course you'll get hate, you guys want to change something about a game YOU don't like. When you have so many games copying each other and where most of them just hold your hand through tutorials and such just to introduce you to mundane and pointless gameplay, this is nothing but a breath of fresh air for people like me who crave something that isn't just a piss poor copy of whatever's trending in games.

Sounds like you very much enjoy Nintendo games so maybe you should stick to them.

No one is trying to take anything this game currently has away, every post like this is just asking for a separate PvE queue.

Translation: I hate PvP games. I saw the game was PvP. I played the game despite me hating PvP. Devs, please cater to me and create a non PvP mode.

This was and has always been a PvP first, PvP focused, PvP core game. JUST BECAUSE it has some NPC's so that players can get some loot DOESNT mean that PvE is or should be the core of the game and therefore it doesnt need to have its own mode.

Not to mention the entire reason to "PvE" is to get gear to PvP, even killing the bosses is intended for you to get better gear so you can kill players.

They shouldn't add a PvE mode. I don't want people bringing in their free gear from PvE and literally destroying the economy and PvP players that have constantly risked themselves to obtain the same gear.

Being a PVE-only gamer who's just havIng a poke at the playtest to learn about it, i'm glad other types of players have media for them too.

We have lots of single player fantasy games of all sorts, please gracefully let the PVPers have their products too instead of bitterly begrudging their preferences.

I thought about adding a post with a bunch of ideas for a PvE mode but these threads usually dissolve, some people just HATE the idea.

Akuma is just as dense as Lowbei lol. i played plenty hardcore on diablo 2 back in the early 2000s, and plenty of hardcore on diablo 3. i never lost anything due to lag, but ive known people who have, and its not a good feeling to know that 100+ hardcore hours put into a character can be wiped by a small internet fart.
