Feature Request: Pinging items

Not sure if this is a popular feature request, but whenever I team up with my friends, I've always thought it would be nice if there was a way to ping items to my team that I queued up with or ping the locations of approaching enemies, kind of like the middle-click in Apex. Do you guys think this would take away from the game or be a valuable addition?
