Fix Dark and Darker Crashing on Startup

Hey Guys!
We have noticed that many Dark and Darker players are suffering from Crashing on startup. If you are one of them, kindly try the following solutions.
1. Turn off any third-party apps like MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner, or any other apps that might hook into your GPU.
2. Try to fix files in Steam settings and verify Steam game cache.
3. Deleting the folder called "Windows" inside Appdata/Local/DungeonCrawler/Saved/Config.
4. Things to try if you crash/lose FPS over time/etc:
1) Limit your FPS in your Nvidia/AMD control panel. You have to manually set FPS to the lowest reasonable number. For example, If your screen's max refresh rate is 77hz so you can put your FPS to 77 max.
2) Go to your Steam Library -> Right click on Dark and Darker and go to "Properties" -> General -> "Launch Options" -> put "-dx11" there with no QUOTES.
In addition to the above methods, you may also try LagoFast game booster to fix server crash issues and reduce lag. Hope you have a wonderful gameplay!

well actually the game servers are down and then once they stopped working a few minutes later the game launcher stopped working because no one can connect to the servers which means the servers arent up atm, so stop spreading misinformation

I mean that you can try these when the servers are back if there are any crashes. And these fixes are useful, depending on what exactly causes the crash, though these cannot fix every crash, still worth a try.

same here none of these fixed anything for me. launcher runs fine from first install, run the program once and after closing it the only thing I get is an error message saying that there is a client file corruption error
