You probably consider PUBG an extremely hardcore game, lol.
You can tell this is a new player considering that the circle has been there since the beginning. The entire premise of the game was a TIMED Battle Royale. You are trying to complain about the entire premise of the game. Go find a different game instead of complaining about the most common function of Battle Royale games. They are obviously not for you.
No, it doesnt need to be Escape From Tarkov. Escape from Tarkov's world is not only massive but its biggest weaknesses is how long it takes. Raids could last upwards to an HOUR. Dark and Darker was specifically designed for you to get in, get out, repeat. Not this slug-like slog through a massive and virtually empty world where players have 0 fear in camping because they know they wont get booted for almost an hour. Not to mention, people literally recommend waiting 20 minutes before looting someone in tarkov if you are nervous that someone might see you looting.
Yeah, thanks but no thanks. Dark and Darker does not need to become Tarkov. You want Tarkov? Go play Tarkov.

The Devs making this game fast paced, get in, loot, fight, get out is ideal. It is fine the way it is.
Rather they need to increase the damage the storm does because people can run through the storm and take it for a long ass time to come out the other side of something.
Rounds could be quite short anyways, without the circle mechanic which only constraints movements.
That is the entire point. To limit movement.
Players shouldn't have to waste time trying to find players across an entire maze with traps in order to find other players. You remove the circle? You now have areas that are completely looted, no npcs (because they were killed) and now players are wandering empty hallways and retreading old locations with no real possibility of running into someone and having their time wasted. The circle means you have to think about your movement choices.
Were you panicking and made a wrong turn and now your back is against the circle with incoming enemies? Cool, guess you have to fight and not have the ability to keep running infinitely.
You see an opportunity to cut an enemy off and pin them by the circle to force them to fight? Cool.
You think you should take the risk go into the storm tank some damage so you can come out from a location that is more advantageous? Awesome.
etc
All of this strategy would be nonexistent if you remove the circle.
1) They want the ability to loot everything freely without risk.
2) They also want to be able to exit camp (one of the most garbage things in gaming).
They unironically are trying to ruin the game.
