Hitstun / Interrupts
Knockback
For example, getting smashed in the face with a War Maul should cancel a bow draw and interrupt spell channeling.
lmao hitstun/interrupts? you really need more help playing 2 handers that 2 shot? So bad. Getting smashed in the face by war maul 1 shots, what more do you want? hitstun the corpse?
would be imbalanced given how powerful 2 handers are unfortunately
Just polish it more but if it becomes competitive as Chivalry/Mordhau it loses all of its concept. The equip tier, the teamwork and knowing the dungeon, all of that would be useless if I find someone who drags all of his hits and dodge everything.
At least that's what my thought.
And then in Mordhau ultimately the same happened, drags. Drags everywhere XD
If the devs of DnD allow us to simply bind an attack from a specific angle to a key input, that'd be glorious, given the claustrophobic dungeon corridors.
No, they would ruin the game. It's not that type of game.
Also some weapons can already block and have certain swing patterns
There's drags in the game already. You do them to hit multiple opponents and hit exposed parts that aren't covered by the shield.
That's just the nature of melee games. Don't fight it, love it.
