Barbarian is unplayable
Literally the worst class design I have ever seen. Rogues can trade with barbarians because they can swing like 8 times before you can even get your 2nd swing off. Fighters can just block. You will never catch a ranger or wizard so it's an instant loss.

How can you design a class that is the slowest in the game, and gets no reward when it actually hits something? Skeletons take 2-3 hits to kill, players take a minimum of 2 unless you get some cracked weapon but let's be real you won't be holding onto that weapon for long with how garbage this class is.

Can't solo, useless in a team. No utility, no healing. What garbage design. Idk why you would ever make something so slow and yet also so unrewarding when you actually hit someone.

Not if you hit the shield hard enough. With the basic two-handed axe and the Impact perk, you can straight-up stun people that try to tank your swing from behind a shield.

Meanwhile me watching my barbarian friend literally one shot two fully kitted players in one swing with the Zweihander.

Get better equipment/skill issue.

barbarian can 2 shot rogues. 1 to the head with a purple maul. You're mad about rogues having to get 8 swings off? lol l2p

Hell, the starting axe could probably one-shot a Rogue with the +10 damage perk and physical damage boost from the Barb's base strength.

I went duo with friend and killed 2 rangers and a wizard in like 20 seconds you have to dodge and be smart.

a headshot is over 50 hp base, so two shots at most. Naked barbs are scary af.

I played a good amount of Barb during the playtest and yeah, he needs a little something more imo. In certain situations he's really great though. I aced a few juiced out trios with him using a good hatchet.

The higher level hatchets slap. If you go toe to toe with another Barb and he doesn't have a hatchet, you're most likely going to win because you can land hits almost twice the speed.

Some buffs I think they should give him is a passive heal of some kind. Maybe tie it in with killing mobs. That way you're encouraged to stay in the carnage. Like, he does have a perk that buffs after killing players, I think a heal buff after killing mobs could work.

I also think he needs a situational ability to be able to close the distance on Bow users. Like have one of his skills make it so he doesn't slow down from being hit by a arrow. It's just too devastating for Barb to not be able to close the distance on range.

Barb with any heal at all would be the most imbalanced class in the game. Barb is fine and doesn't need anything. High single hit damage and highest hp in the game, plus a movement skill, 1 shotting down doors, is enough. Barb should not be pushing into a ranger. He can hide behind 1 pillar and it's countered. If ranger pushes in he gets 2 shotted.

The Felling Axe is really good. It has no combo attack, but swings super fast. The only problem is if you swing without hitting anything; there's a large delay on a missed swing before you can swing again, but if you can keep landing hits, it's a slaughterhouse.

I'm not saying he needs a "PVP heal". More like a tiny downtime passive heal ability that is weaved into mob combat. I think chain kills for barb would be a fun class specific aspect. Maybe not though, I'm just throwing ideas out after binging him during the playtest.

Also, you a lot of times have absolutely no choice but to try to push a bow user. The ring often encircles the wide open area in the middle with the spiral stairs and you're forced into PVP. It's not Tarkov, you can't just run somewhere else and hide.

Skeletons take 2-3 hits to kill when you're wearing default gear. I played with a barbarian who 1 shot everything but wraiths and the big shielded skeleton knight. Dude was a monster and with double buff hit for over 200 damage with an overhead swing on the target dummy. However, I think making them take less damage and moving faster while enraged would make them more viable as an overall class.
