Needs a solo only mode.

It's good, but there's no SOLO PLAYERS ONLY mode, so it's almost impossible to play alone since all the dungeons designed for the party. And if you meet the party of players while playing alone -> you are dead... Why even allow to play solo then. I hope such option will be available in the future.

It's definitely not easy but doable you really gotta play a class that can take people down quickly or safely, Barb, Rogue and ranger seem to be the best suited for solo play.

Barb's can one tap almost anyone with their starter axe. I've 1v2'd and 1v3'd by taking out squishies first. you have to really choose your fight location and I've died more to groups than I've killed.

Ranger so far seems to be the easiest if you pay attention and set up traps to stop them and hit them with fire bottles/bow shots

Haven't played rogues much but they definitely seem good not sure the optimal playstyle and if they can kill groups but they definitely seem like they could of the other team gets surprised by one.

game has only been under development for 10 months and is more playable than alot of AAA games that have been released. the game is only 10% complete. built to work server queue issues and basic operability. they have started with the group aspect so far, will get to solo and adding content and rewards and weapons and maps and ..... on and on and on...
enjoy the playtests when they come available, provide constructive criticism, not just whines and complaints of how it lacks depth and completeness.

Just send an invite to people waiting in lobby. You're a masochist if you want to run alone. If you go alone even knowing that you'll be against 3 mans, then that's your fault for not preparing or finding people or sending invites out to the many other solos in lobby.

I solo as a cleric fine, and I'm mediocre. Like I go 2/16 in Mordhau mediocre. I play single player games on medium. I struggled playing Elden Ring constantly. Start conquering games instead of letting the developers conquer it for you.

PUT YOUR CHIN UP, KING AND JUMP BACK IN THAT QUEUE. (hypothetically of course, playtest is over)

The amount of people crying about no solo option really shows the world how much ♥♥♥♥♥♥ players expect to get catered to. It's a hardcore game lol why don't people understand that.

Played the entire playtest solo.
20 Fighter
18 Wizard
7 Rogue
10 Cleric
(No I didn't fight the Lich, but I did kill a group while they were fighting. So that was nice)

If you can't work out how to play solo, with all the environmental help, this is not the game for you.
I also get frustrated by a staQed 3man, but thats nothing compared with setting up an ambush and CREAMING a full 3 stack!

Just don't buy the game if they refuse to add a solo que and move on that simple. No point fighting a uphill battle with so many people not wanting their 1v3 loot pinata going away.

With so much opposition to solo que you would think the same people would advocate not allowing solo player to even que right? No they just want to keep their 3v1 fights
