If you still want a refund, try to contact steam support, explain your situation and see if they can accommodate your request. I think your chances of getting a refund are slim, but it is worth the try.
Also as a future tip, before purchasing games, especially flight sims, ask about it, watch videos, read reviews and read about the requirements before making a decision. One important thing is to see whether or not the simulator is user friendly in such scenarios and will satisfy your use (i.e setting up screens and so on). This way you will collect as much data as possible and chances are you will avoid spending money unnecessarily.
Well, I figured out how to do the triple screen thing as other sims are similar as far as how the monitors need to be setup on the PC. So I reinstalled it and tried it again. The triple screen workd but the horrible frame rates made it unplayable. Now, my system is not the biggest, baddest PC on the planet, but it can hold its own. I can play other high end sims like DCS and MSFS2020-24 with pretty high graphics, with the triple monitors and they run pretty much smooth as silk. Since it runs so well for you, perhaps you could give me a little insight on how you have your graphics setup up to make it playable...? I have found that with complex games like these, many times there are one or two small settings that can make a huge difference.
Funnily enough, flying an attack helicopter realistically takes a bit of set up and learning.
No refund, mucked around for over 2 hours not using the DLC, having said that, 7 years later, i came back to it, and damn that's a potent weapon.
You might find that X-Plane 12 in your library leads to good things happening one day, who can say.

Stick with XP12, it is a great product.
Dunno. Had I known there was a demo, I certainly would have tried it before shelling out $60.
