I overwrote an xplane 12 laminar Airbus A330-300.

Is there a simple way of getting it back without having to re-install x plane 12?

Try verifying the installed files (right click on XP12 icon, select properties, installed files and then verify integrity). It should replace any modified/deleted files with the default ones. Just note that it will do so for the entire XP12, not just the A330.
