No DLC Scenery

I purchased X-Plane 12. It will not allow me to download the scenery. When i attempt to download the program opens.

I assume you are talking about the XP12 Global Scenery DLC. How are you trying to download them? It should work when you go to the X-Plane 12 store page on Steam and add the Global Scenery DLC to your library.

Im pretty late but for me when i press download it just opens the game, and pressing add to library just gives a pop up saying i apparently don't have the game..

There's no mouse icon next to your username, which means that you don't have the Steam version of the game, at least on that account (as far as I understand it). Where did you purchase your copy of XP12? If it is from Laminar directly, you'll need to use their own installer to install the Global Scenery.

New owner of X-Plane 12 here (purchased via Steam). I had trouble installing the free Global Scenery DLCS following the in-game instruction. I had no DLC tab in the game Steam Properties.

I found that I had to go to the Store Page and clicked on the DLC (the free Europe scenery in my case). From there I could "Add to Library". Then the downloaded started (several Gb).

The in-game instructions seems wrong... Btw, the DLC tab did show up in the properties windows but only with the DLCs I had already installed.

I literally got it on steam, that's weird. I've contacted xplane support now tho so I'll just wait or.. I'm open for help by anyone here.
