To be honest, the game looks good, but something sooo confused me. And the thing is, in the video, as I expected, the elf had something I didn't expect. They just mean that Charlotte is simply male, despite the name and outfit. which the developer confirmed in a discussion for the NSFW version of the game. He's just feminine and dresses that way.

I think the video and screenshots are just from the NSFW version, since it seems like an SFW version wasn't initially planned, so that "unexpected something" was left in. It might be a good idea for the developer to update the videos and screenshots to make it a bit more clear.

If you expand the "about this game" section and scroll down you'll see that "something" is not present, which is probably how Charlotte will look in the this version. Charlotte might still be male here, just not as in-your-face about it.

Think of it as Astolfo from the videogame series "Fate". Where one of the characters looks and sometimes dresses as a girl but in reality is a full-on male that even adresses himself as a guy.

Kinda. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Can always promote one of the female characters to poster girl in your headcanon. No one can change that and the dev can't patch it out.

Charlotte fills the role fine, though. Just don't take his clothes off, which won't happen unless you play Last Devil. Or, if you do play it, just keep your eyes above his waist.

Yeah, Last Monarch is the SFW version, while Last Devil is the NSFW version.

I'm not sure if there are still suggestive themes (character designs are already kinda suggestive), but Last Monarch should at least be porn-free.
